![]() In this role, she manages HR operations for various Commonwealth departments, supervises a call center catering to thousands of employees in the Executive Branch, and oversees the administration of specific statewide programs. ![]() Currently, she holds the position of HR Executive Operations Administrator for the Human Resources Division at the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Meghan is a skilled professional with a background in law and administration, having gained experience in both private and public sectors. With her passion for environmental voluntourism, she has volunteered in China,Thailand, East Africa, the Caribbean as well as within the United States. Meghan Sisk is a longtime animal lover and advocate who has been fortunate to have served as a volunteer for a number of international animal advocacy organizations. Polemenakos is a Swampscott, MA native but currently resides in Quincy, MA with her boyfriend and 2 rescue dogs, “Beans” and “Beau.” Polemenakos earned her Bachelor’s Degree in 2016 from Suffolk University in Political Science where she was also honored as a ‘10 under 10’ honoree for making significant contributions in her field and in the community. She also volunteers locally in Quincy, MA as a committee member on the Adams Presidential Center Advisory Committee. She also served as a State Partner to the Pocketbook Project where she was responsible for assisting women running for public office. She recently completed a fellowship for the Women’s Public Leadership Network. Polemenakos is a strong proponent of public service. During the 2020 Covid-19 Pandemic, Polemenakos was hand-selected by the Governor’s Senior Staff to lead the Governor’s PPE Procurement Vetting Team and assisted the Commonwealth in procuring millions of pieces of PPE to front-line workers throughout the Commonwealth. Additionally, she is an MPA candidate at Suffolk University’s Sawyer Business School. Polemenakos is currently working in healthcare administration at Beth Israel Lahey Health. Lauren was also a recipient of the Channel Partners 2020 Circle of Excellence Award and has been listed on The Channel Co CRN The Most Powerful Women of the Channel: Power 100 in 20. Her top performance earned her recognition as Employee of the Month out of more than 2,000 team members in 2017. Lauren is the Marketing Director at Granite Telecommunications, in Quincy, MA starting in 2012 from social media manager to sales coordinator to channel marketing manager. Lauren helps run projects and events such as the QAS annual calendar, QAS volunteer dinner and to celebrate Quincy Animal Shelter's 20th anniversary with a Mosiac that will be hung in the new upcoming shelter. After two years of volunteering, Lauren was elected and has been serving the the Quincy Animal Shelter board since 2020. Lauren began volunteering her time with Quincy Animal Shelter since 2019 to help the volunteers and program with their marketing initiatives through social media, website mediator, and building a marketing team. Lauren Cheney is a longtime animal advocate and animal lover since she was a child. ![]() She also spent many years working as a photographer.Īlthough Sandra has lived most of her life in North Quincy, she currently resides in Pembroke with her super supportive husband, Marty, her two amazing dogs and five crazy cats. She recently earned her Master’s Degree in Conflict Resolution from the McCormick School of Government at UMass Boston. Since 2001, Sandra has worked as an Auto Claims Manager for Quincy Mutual Group. Helping humans during difficult times and making sure our volunteers know that they are valued and appreciated. She sees the shelter as a valuable resource to be accessed by the entire community. Since 2019, she has served as the President of the Board of Directors.įor Sandra, volunteering at QAS has been a life changing experience. ![]() She has held several positions, including Canine Manager, Adoption Manager, Shelter Director, Foster Mom, Scoop Editor and Board Member. Sandra began volunteering at Quincy Animal Shelter in August 1999. ![]()
